Digital innovation to offer a direct channel to your customers

As part of the launch of the integration between Autologica Sky DMS and the John Deere Customer Portal, we spoke with Bautista Aimetta, part of the Remonda Castro team, who told us about his experience with this innovative solution for customers. 

Remonda Castro is an official John Deere dealer located in Rafaela (Santa Fe, Argentina). The company has more than 60 years of experience in the industry, and this is reflected in its consolidation as a market leader, with the most complete line of machinery including 10 product lines and 40 machinery models. Since 2005 they have used Autologica DMS as their dealer management system and recently added Autologica BI to measure their key performance indicators.

“We have many orders for parts that arrive through the Portal, especially at our main office as well as at our San Martin branch, and we are very satisfied with the level of sales. Now we have set customer registration goals for all branches, and after that we will set sales goals.”

Dealer Customer Portal is a website that allows John Deere dealers´ customers to find the parts they need and place orders. 

Customers can search for parts and see price and availability; this information is pulled from Autologica Sky DMS. Users can then add parts to the shopping cart, and choose a payment and delivery method. After confirming, the order is automatically generated in Sky DMS. In addition, the dealership’s customer can access JD Customer Portal to see the equipment they own, their service history, the history of payments and invoices, and the status of their current account. 

“The level of sales has met our expectations. We unveiled the tool at a John Deere Fair; the next day we already had orders. It was what we expected and at the same time we are looking for it to grow even more”.
